Hutch, glad to see so many happy users of GreenLine! Keep trading those options, I can use the $$. Ha Ha. I use the Waterhouse internet site to do all my trading. A flat $12 commission for any number of shares. I don't do options, so I don't know what they charge for them. The Waterhouse service is just outstanding.

Regarding the fact that Canada law allows Canadian banks to purchase US or Mexico banks, but not visa versa, I vaguely recall reading a story recently that some proposed change in US banking law, together with the provisions of NAFTA, might somehow pressure the Canadian Government to change it's law regarding foreign ownership of Canadian banks. I tried to find the story again, but couldn't. Anyway, I think consolidation in banking, in US and Canada is inevitable, especially with this NAFTA agreement in place.
