Perhaps this is correct as far as Europe is concerned, but I think debatable as respects the rest of the world. Europe will be flat for one obvious reason: The need to digest the enormous debt loads taken on by operators.

Asia is unlikely to be flat. China will certainly not be and India may well be a welcome surprise. The US will see Sprint and Verizon update their CDMA operations. Perhaps Cingular will join them. If ATT Wireless is to be believed, it will be changing over to GSM, though its timetable is a little less certain.

I'm expecting pretty soon Nokia to drop the third shoe
