TAW, Some day all religions will fade away. What gets me is that each one feels it is the one true religion and all others are misled.
For all we know the one true religion is practised by a small tribe in Africa, who just smile and keep their mouths shut.
It is quite apparent that it is just social reactionism that keeps any vestige of religion alive. In the UK attandance is under 5% at church and it is not much more here in the USA.
A funny thing happens if you ask people....they say(97%) that they believe, yet when you count who goes to church it is close to 5% in large cities. In smaller cities where social pressure obtains , more go to church to keep the neighbours sated, ie for social reasons.
