CAMPBELL, Calif., Sep 4, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- ClickSoftware (Nasdaq:CKSW), a
leading provider of service chain optimization solutions for service
organizations, has announced the deployment of ClickSchedule at Siemens Medical
as its new optimized service scheduling solution within the SAP R/3 environment.

By implementing ClickSchedule, Siemens Medical Solutions in the UK will improve
customer service, provide real time same/next day window for break-fix calls,
minimize changes of preventive maintenance schedule; and provide product updates
within specified deadline.

Siemens Medical Solutions is involved in the installation and commissioning of
new medical equipment, preventive maintenance to existing equipment; updates of
medical equipment; and break/fix jobs according to Service Level Agreements or
on a needs basis.

The use of ClickSchedule will improve resource utilization by increasing the
number of jobs per field engineer per week and reducing travel time and
overtime. It will also improve scheduling procedures -- providing an immediate
response to customers of the Expected Time of Arrival when booking appointments.

Siemens Medical Solutions in the UK had already developed an in-house scheduling
SW, together with a mobile solution for their field service operations, before
the existing SAP R/3 landscape was introduced. However, with the introduction of
SAP this was no longer compatible and a new approach had to be found "The
ClickSchedule system will be very effective for us," said Luciano Ocesca,
Service Centre Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions. "Our current scheduling
process now takes literally half as long as our old one. That's a substantial
difference for us with regards to the speed in which we can respond to customer
needs."

Within the Siemens Medical Solutions organization, the UK was chosen as a pilot
