That is such an interesting way to put it.
Because I have always argued with Mr. X about this. I have come to think, suspect, whatever, that everything is pretty much determined- but we as the determined do not know our outcomes, because the causes determining the outcomes are far too complex, but still, it's a causal chain- so no free will.

Mr. X tells me that because of quantum mechanical theory there IS randomness. I find it hard to believe in that. So of course I abstain from believing in it. :-)

I cannot remember if you have expressed yourself on this topic- but I would be interested in your opinion.
