But the new currency will be everywhere on Jan 2. Are you suggesting that they have the forgeries all made and raring to go, I don't think so. Anyway people will be spending their old currencies and getting new stuff in change. Plus all the cash dispensing machines will be giving out good stuff. Surely after a few days of handling new stuff they will be able to tell the difference. Worry about existing forgeries of $100 bills coming back next year.
