Joel, Russell is wrong on two counts regarding the Euro. First if he is bearish on the US economy and stock market he should be bullish on the Euro. Second there were some new war mongering regarding Iraq and a little surprise in the statistics and all stops got filled.

It is true since Aug. 8 (not 15) the Euro had move straight up (within a week or so) killing all the shorts and now straight down killing all the longs. Strong dollar weak Euro is not in the interest of any Western Country. It will range trade for a while.

The only thing I agree is perception ........... and with God willing there will be a little war in the ME and then a new bull market will begin. ................ until then missery with sharp undecided swings

farfetched may be but I due believe it.
