I am getting a weird feeling like we're kind of ganging up on John Shannon. He seems quite intelligent and sincere and has IMHO attempted to answer the questions that have been put to him. Granted, his tone has not been exactly that to which we have become accustomed but to his credit I think he's getting the idea. I humbly suggest that we are all picking up on Mike's beef with JS and aren't being as fair as we ordinarily would. I for one am very interested in the specific rationale which led him to identify the impending bear market with enough confidence to act accordingly. It sounds like he uses some valuation criteria and that has very clearly been accepted as on-topic. I am also interested in how that rationale might apply to the present and future. (Even Mike has conceded that he has something to offer this group.) I respectfully request that we give JS a chance to demonstrate his ability to contribute to this group in a collegial manner. Doing so can only benefit us all. M
