I know you are all going to think I'm insane suggesting the pumper was trying to create a demand to sell into on the QQQ. But today news about a changing the tax rate on long term investment came out.

What this means is you can sell your short term loses in the QQQ - take the short term tax lost = your regular tax bracket. Then buy the DOW Jones or other likely stocks that will rise over a year, and only pat 15% taxes on the gains. Take up to 30% write-off on your loses today and pay 15% on your gains a year from now.

The QQQ's crashed on the moment the news was release. You can come to your own conclusions.
