If you call someone a "rapist," and that person has never been conv icted in a court of law of the crime of rape, then you are opening yourself up to a libel or slander suit. On the other hand, if you call President Clinton a "sexual scoundrel," then you likely have nothing to worry about. In either case, as long as you restrict such bash attacks to Silicon Investorville, you're probably on safe ground, because if ever there was a Web site where reality and fantasy mix on a daily basis, this is it. All one would have to do to persuade a judge/jury that this is a nonsense-fantasyland-cartoon character site would be to print out a week's worth of posts from Prolife and JLA.
