Nope. Wrong again. I don't invest with clients nor do I accept any payment but cash. I have accepted property in payment for services once. I took a timeshare week in payment of a long overdue bill. The deals I invest in mainly are real estate deals, primarily multifamily or distressed stuff. I have a good feel for the market because, being a RE lawyer, I see who buys and who sells and for how much all day long, every day. Its my business. I couldn't give up my day job but it does add nicely to the bottom line...
