There has never been a bull market without financials doing well. We could use a corporate tax incentive program to encourage spending by companies on technology. All I've heard about tonight on the news is a cap. gains cut (MAYBE). That's good. How many people have capital gains this year and also don't have enough tax losses to carry forward to last a few years? Government is so slow at making moves, it won't matter what they do anyway. The market will have bottomed and the economy as well by the time Congress gets around to passing anything. TA
