Hi Ramsey,

<<No one is paying attention to the auto sales numbers today?>>

I wonder (a) what is the average age of all registered private autos in the US, (b) what was the historic norm of average age, (c) the longest average age, and (d) how few cars to be sold for how long into the future to 'revert to the mean'?

<<California is not as bad as HK but every other car is a mercedes these days>>

Here, we have Hyundais the size of large Mercedes, and small Mercedes the size of Minis, and every other car is a BMW, unless one counts the largest per capita concentration of Ferraris. Even so, car sales are way down already, and 1997 Porsche with glass targa roof can be had for 40% of original new price.

<<does anyone buy stocks anymore?>>

Yes, apparently, in effort to commit financial suicide.

Chugs, Jay
