<<Do you think it is OK to discriminate based on religion?>>

Mani, no, it is not ok to discriminate based on religion. And I repeated many times that in Israel there is no official discrimination based on religion. Jewish state means that the majority of citizens are Jewish, so that the country can defend the interests of the Jews throughout the world, and, if God forbid, another tragedy like WW2 befalls the Jews, there is a place for them to go to. Remember, during WW2, every country in the world, including the US, refused to take in Jewish refugees from Europe thereby condemning them to death. Israel is a Jewish state just like Italy is an Italian state or Spain - Spanish. Just like non-Italians live in Italy, so non-Jews can and do live in Israel. But most people in Italy are ethnically Italians, and most people in Israel are ethnically Jews.

<<No one has the right to claim any land as their own based on their ancestors and religion, NO ONE!!>>

But everyone’s claims to any land are based on their ancestors. There are some societies, namely some Indian tribes and, I think, Australian aborigines, who do not recognize the ownership of the land, but that is not the way of a modern world. Besides, there is no other land for the Jews, and we, as a people, need our one little corner in the world we can call home.

<<Zionism is wrong and that is no place for it in a civilized society>>
Zionism is nothing more than the national movement of the Jews. I can understand if you disagree with the notion of a national movement, but then you should condemn every form of nationalism, not just Jewish nationalism. If you single out Zionism out of all other national movements, then you are prejudiced.
