Hi Neocon; I agree. Even the most mild of governments will enforce its least important laws (at least those of its laws that it insists be obeyed) with deadly force. If you get a speeding ticket and don't pay it, a lot of states will invalidate your drivers license. If you keep driving, they will eventually arrest you. If you resist arrest, they may very well kill you. They will certainly bring out the "men with guns" if you insist on carrying a weapon to protect your self asserted right to drive. We are creatures red in tooth and claw, and so are our governments. It's okay with me. It's one of the little features of this planet that seems to be unavoidable. I don't think it's a reason to morally reject government. -- Carl
