From Worldcom 10Q----showing LD dropping revenue, data adding. I was speaking to long haul private lines though, where the rub is currently between the traders and the carriers. In this case, the long haul private lines should account to 20-30ish percent of revenues.

Hopefully that posted correctly.
Data revenues for the second quarter of 2001 increased 19.1% over the prior year period. For the six months ended June 30, 2001, data revenues increased 18.9% over the prior year period. Data includes both commercial long distance and local dedicated bandwidth sales. As of June 30, 2001, approximately 32% of data revenues were derived from frame relay and asynchronous transfer mode services, where we experienced strong demand for capacity increases across the product set as businesses moved more of their mission-critical applications to their own networks during the period. Additionally, we continue to experience strong price pressure for data services in our emerging markets due to competition and the general decline in economic condition of our customers, which we expect to continue in the foreseeable future. |
