There was a news the other week about a man in Peru who Chopped off his testicle in protest to the lousy economy! In my case its my wife who is threatening to do it(to me). Sun, I have written before on global ramifications of an economic collapse particularly in asia. We have a war brewing in the mideast, the root cause being economic in my opinion, so it doesnt take much of a leap to see what will happen domestically in china for instance if the economic miracle comes to a screeching halt. Beware Taiwan and so on. If there is economic turmoil in asia and not disaster, us markets usually benefit as the safe haven and since money market returns are so low, US stocks should benefit somewhat depending of course on whether there is recovery here. And I know how could there truly be recover in an worldwide eco crisis. The good news is that the Bad events have always(recently) been controlled and good times have resumed. mike
