I differ from you somewhat on the pedophobia issue. I don't think that once we find a genetic basis for pedophilia there will be a groundswell of support for pedophiles. Rather, I think it will make people rethink the relationship between genetic inclination and the acceptability of behavior, and realize that it doesn't matter whether a person has a genetic predisposition toward violence, or pedophilia, or homosexuality, or whatever; we will look at behaviors separate from their origins, and not use "genetic makeup" as an acceptable reason for accepting what is otherwise viewed as unacceptable behavior.

Of course, if the neolibs get their way, maybe pedophiles WILL become the next great civil rights cause, and pedophobes will be denounced and hounded.
