I think it will take years to recover and many DSL providers will be gone. Cable modems will win the war into the house cause they are faster and will provide more goodies like TIVO boxes etc that will encourage adoption. Also Time/warner/Comcast/Adelphia/hughes(satelite) have better marketing/sales and service then the likes of verizon or ATT. I think ATT will go under before this is all over IMHO. The infra biz will be morbid for years. I still like the wireless because its cheaper for people to have wireless access to networks then building Lan's and local corporate networks. So Wireless will kill alot of the products that are in the ground IMHO. I think HDR if its here fast enough will destroy access as we know it. This is why I believe Qcom will be a survivor, and will thrive. I think Nextwave buildout is the bigest unknown benifit for Qcom. If they can build a real 3G system they can really demolish the Teligent's, Level 3's of the world. iMHo
