Tuesday September 4, 4:47 pm Eastern Time Press Release SOURCE: Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer, LLP Kaplan Fox Announces $48 Million Macromedia Securities Class Action Settlement SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Kaplan Fox & Kilsheimer, LLP today announced that a memorandum of understanding between defendants and lead plaintiffs to settle securities class action litigation pending in state court in California against Macromedia and certain of its former officers and directors has been signed.
Subject to court approval, the settlement is for $48 million in cash, plus accruing interest. Under its terms, the claims against Macromedia and all other defendants will be dismissed.
