I agree - that's why I started a thread about satellite Internet in March, 2000. Not much action there, though.

No doubt you are aware that neither Iridium nor Globalstar have the capability of providing broadband data - their satellites just are not equipped to do it.

Thanks for the link to C-Com. I see that they are a vendor for Hughes' DirecWay, which, unfortunately, isn't exactly rolling in customers. I think StarBand may be doing a little better, but Gilat isn't making money this year, either. Projected to earn money next year, maybe.
