Interesting pattern on GMNI.<g> It has now closed the up-gap from Aug.29(Closed on 8/28 at 3.20 & on 8/29 (O=3.54 H=3.88 L=3.54 C=3.60)That day volume was 46,000 with 16,900 on the first hour. Yesterday it traded 100,000 shares in the last hour with a relatively small move, albeit on the up-side.<g>(from 3.31 to 3.35)Total volume for the day was 101,700 (only 1,700 shares traded before the last hour) Today it traded only 5,300 shares (down from 3.31 to 3.22) after its scientists announced that they have identified mutations in a gene that may play an important role in the function of human heart muscle.Or "Gene Predictor for CHF".<g> biz.yahoo.com And last week it had announced "the discovery of three novel genes relating to osteoporosis and obesity" biz.yahoo.com Of course part of that "interesting" or "strange pattern" may be due to the fact that they are planning on merging with SQNM by the end of the month.<g> Holders of GMNI stock are due to receive 0.2 of a share of a new issue of SQNM and holders of their ADS will receive 0.4 of a share of SQNM.
