I doubt that. I don't think Intel has a handle on the volume play with Linux. Then what CPU is Linux running on predominately, or more than on any other single CPU chip type? Sparc? No. IBM Power chips? No. IBM mainframe chips? No, although they've started packaging it in mainframes. Alpha? No. MIPS? No. Power PC? No. AMD? Hell no. All of those have had Linux ported to them, but which one of them has more Linux applications running on them than Intel? None. It is absolutely Intel, Amy. The key is to expand this at the expense of mainframes and Solaris. alpha and MIPS are no problem; they're going away. Tony
