inflation is not an issue here.

What are the issues:

Consumer debt is at all-time highs. Lower rates will not help people who are already tapped out on their credit limts. Consumer spending = 2/3 of the GDP.

Coprorate debt across the board is at highs, as well.

Telco debt is very high, they are not benifitting much from all this infrastructure spending they've done the last few yrs; what it has done is drive service rates down to the point where op profits are threadbare or gone.

People are loosing jobs left and right. Hiring freezes are almost universal now. As a result, real estate prices are cracking, and ecommerce revenue has peaked and is now starting to fall.

And so you expect a big rebound in this atmosphere?
