Jeez NYCB, you sure know how to make a guy nervous. I'm out here on the farm, on the other side of the planet and I don't get to see up close and personal all that stuff you described.

Which shows the value of cyberspace and why it's not going away though the owners are changing quickly.

I do know the party started way before Y2K. I know it was already exciting by 1995. It was going way back in the 1980s. In fact, my party started about 1966 when I made a little pile out of Mount Isa mining shares [enough to upgrade my motorbike].

I don't think the Dow and S&P need go down like the dot.coms and telecosm needed to. The P:E on the Dow is 22:1 which beats interest rates [although those earnings are no doubt dropping].

PS: What's a martini? At US$12 that's NZ$28 so I guess it's some electrical appliance. Just kidding, but I can see why Americans laugh at Kiwi prices.
