I think it's about time Canadians on this thread showed a hint of our main in-bred strength, i.e. smugness.

Out of context but .... very perceptive dj, LOL. I would disagree that it our main strength but.....

You know I almost added that very thing in my post to CB.
A major difference between Canadians and Americans is that Americans tell everyone how great they are and we Canadians sit smugly here 'knowing' we are the best. ......;o) A truism that of course is directly related to how the two nations were formed and the dissimilar paths that their similar beginnings took.

It's funny though, knowing many on both sides of the line that I don't find that this readily apparent on an individual level, in either case, but as nations your observation is also mine.

EDIT Americans I find have a habit of comparing us to themselves while we Canadians on the other hand prefer contrast.
