There are longer-term dangers in some tactics used for short-term gain. When 90% of any demographic group votes for your side (and especially when they pad their numbers with illegal ballot box stuffing), when they take a sure landslide defeat and turn it into an almost-won for you, they ARE going to demand a large share in your leadership. Sharpton is only the first black to start pointing it out: The Democratic leaders are lily-white. WHERE IS THE TOP-LEVEL BLACK PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE? No one "QUALIFIED"? Ex-cuse me!!! No liberal racism? ROFLMAO!!!

And how long will they stay, having received this cold shoulder. Oh, the migration to conservative IS a gradual, though inevitable, process. But why stay on Hillary's and Loserman's plantation. They can elect the Black Caucaus just as easily from their own party-they're all safe seats. And if THAT'S ALL THEY ARE GOING TO GET??

I know, you libs: "Ralph 'learned his lesson' and won't screw us again. So where are the blacks going to go? I mean REALLY!!"

Wait and see. Win people's votes, and they'll give you the chance to pitch them again next time. Get them, instead, to sell their souls, and they're going to come to collect.

Sometimes watching the enemy keep his head stuck squarely up his ass is the whole battle...
