You have a good and well thought out point Elroy. Myself...I've never really given much hope to the U.S. DSL market, mostly due to the slowness of the regulation changes. Bush's FCC guy (Powel)is too slow at helping Americans stay on top with faster connect speeds, unlike Clinton's guy Kindard (sp). I never cared for Clinton....but he did have a well run FCC. It's time Washington tuned back in and accelerated change and increased competion by opening doors. The RBOCs have smashed their competition and now are dragging their feet. Where is the free enterprise system....locked out I guess!!!
