Initiatives of vendors and operators –WAP and GPRS- have been flopping one after another and mobile data is losing its credibility by the day in a series of disappointments and postponements. Yes, very much Eurocentric view. I don't know if you had followed me and Jay discussions on the next abracadabra in 'The Financial Collapse of 2001' Thread. I am going to post there my view of a coming abracadabra as related to the replacement of wireless as we know it today. Even Hong Kong Li Ka Shing (Hutchison Whampoa) is going to get burned with 3G. It can even be that the US not following the Euro scene of 3G may end up on top. But that's not assured. To be honest with you nothing is assured now. Until the fat lady sings or the elephant starts dropping...
