Joe: An analyst is on the business channel right now who follows Novell--he just said that the company couldn't have done better than Schmidt--if anyone can turn the company around, he's the guy. He thinks prospects are better than they've been in a long time--says the main problem with Novell has been that they're base in Utah has been a drawback because they can't attract enough engineers but that investors should hold on--not much downside risk but plenty of upside potential. He also said that something big is coming out of Compaq next week-- maybe as early as Monday.
