I certainly hope so. The value appreciation of this stock borders on the inevitable. Compound the proliferation of all the PDAs with the proliferation of digital cameras needing CompactFlash and you are bound to have a bonanza. Factor in the patent value of the technology in favor of Sandisk and you're going to have a veritable Iomega. Really, Sandisk feels it can be so cocky at this point that they can demand premiums above standard royalty payments from monoliths like Samsung. Sandisk is confident - we have to be confident. One more promising aspect about flash cards. Look at the hype surrounding Iomega. Basically, a proprietary alternative to store data offline. While flash card storage is considerably more expensive than Zip disks, I have good reason to believe we'll be able to store or back up data on to flash cards and tote them to and from work or wherever and not need a Zip Drive. All I'll need is a PCMCIA slot. Moving data from digital cameras, PDAs, desktop PCs, laptops, and whatever other medium that can hold an ATA card will be a snap. Of course, we'll have to wait until production reaches the price point to justify this portability Eden, but a simple flash card beats the hell out of whatever is on the drawing board now. Let's get this thread moving folks! If we can plant the seed of prosperity in some big money managers who might stumble upon this board, we can instill faith that Sandisk is a GO! We need look no further than the guy who pointed out the insider trading at Cabletron on the Motley Fool. People read this stuff. Have a good weekend everybody. Patrick
