Jack....(a) what are you smoking, (b) can I have some? "the stock will be OK even in the short term." ??!!?!?!?!?! Jack, I don't think Alladin is going to fly out of Phillipe's ass if the CFO rubs it. VRTY already reported Q4 revenue of $11.1 MN. When they did that last quarter (Q3) they reported an EPS of -$.07 and Zack's handsomely rewarded them with a -17% Earnings Surprise. Now we are about to report the Q4 EPS and what has changed since Q3? Now they have the payroll of Cognisoft being expensed for an entire quarter. They also have the usual Year End Sales bonuses to pay out. I am guessing that they have an additional $400K in expenses in Q4 that they didn't have in Q3. But they do have the same revenue amount, roughly $11MN. Zack's has them down for an EPS estimate of -$.05 My guess is that they won't make that, I am looking for a best case scenario of -$.07 EPS. I agree with Richard that VRTY will go DOWN after the formal announcement. I would say "tank" but to be honest, we are already IN the definition of "TANKED" at 6 1/4 with a book value of $4.79 I plan to buy in, but at less than $6 per share. I will make money but this Pig isn't going anywhere near $20 until they can prove they are stable and stop spending 65% (35% reported + $15MN in acquisitions) on R&D.
