Lots of variables with that one. Don't know if there are typical numbers or not. Lots depend on the targeted condition(s) and the number of people in the various trials. Usually the numbers are low for the PI and PII trials, but the PIII ones are the proof in the pudding and just enrollment can take months. That is in addition to the data collection and analysis that is needed in order to file for an new drug approval.

Your best bet is to look at the Vion site for info on the trial dates and try to extrapolate from that. I don't think the approval/non-approval call will be until at least Q2, '03 for these drugs. Triapine has a bit of a jump since the PII has started.

I can not really look much further at this time.
