*OT* Question for anyone: Does it make any sense at all that there are thousands and thousands of people employed by Wall Street that produce research that, at best, is duplistic, and at worst, useless and not worth the paper its written on...(just one aspect of the waste on WS, of course)...How many companies follow Intel, 2 dozen? Can't 3 or 4 companies cover all the bases?
I mean, can you think of any other industry that supports so many, absolutely useless productive beings .....its as if we had 50 Consumer Reports, or 50 companies selling the same brand of Coke, or, or....
What a tremendous waste of human capital....if we're going to be that wasteful, why can't I have 5 more steak houses in my neighborhood? |
