What, precisely, does "oversold" mean? One could argue that at any given point in time we are exactly as sold as we should be.

P.S. I'm not picking on you in particular. I've heard that word several times over the last few days and despite the many claims that the market is "oversold", it in fact behaves more as though it was "overbought".
