OK, let's see where we stand.

-KLA-Tencor reaffirms guidance.
-Intel reaffirms guidance and capex, although they will hold off on 2002 capex guidance until January. [In edit, Bill states that this is normal.]
-National Semi meets expectations, says bookings increased during the quarter. Sites increased demand from wireless, display, and PC customers.
-Although Mototola warned that sales will be flat instead of their previous forecast of up 5% sequentially, of significance to equipment makers is that they also expect Q3 semiconductor orders to be up sequentially.
-Best Buy, a major consumer electronics chain, will far exceed earnings estimates, siting robust sales of DVD players, digital TVs, and digital cameras.
-Leading economic indicators are improving. ( dismal.com )

I have now canceled the GTC sell orders on my trading positions.
