SEPT 6 INDEX UPDATE ------------------------ Short-term technical readings: DOW - BORDERLINE CLASS 1 BUY, FALLING THREE METHODS SPX - CLASS 1 BUY OEX - CLASS 1 BUY NAZ - CLASS 1 BUY NDX - CLASS 1 BUY SOX - BORDERLINE CLASS 1 BUY RUT - CLASS 1 BUY VIX - INTRADAY CLASS 1 SELL(inverse to market) The major indices are all in CLASS 1 BUY region, so Im suspecting that the short-term low should be set tomorrow. However, I am not expecting a strong rally at all. Please remember that the 3-BLACK CROWs in the DOW/SPX/OEX/BANKs are still intact. To add to the candlestic negativity, ANON noticed the FALLING THREE METHODS on the DOW, which I consider a significant confirmation of the 3-BLACK CROWs which occured earlier. litwick.com A very important negative today was that the NDX broke below the APRIL LOWs on a closing basis, but not yet on an intraday basis. Although there are alot of negatives, I am still suspecting a small bounce to start as early as tomorrow. In my mutual fund account I had an even hedge between the UOPIX(long NDX) and the USPIX(short-NDX). To day I closed the short positions(USPIX) and now am long a very small position(3%). I realise its dangerous to be long, but its a very small position, and I want to stick to my discipline of playing my short-term technicals. I also added more to a biotech.
