You missed the INTC lies-cum-spin. They said revs would come in in the lower 1/2 of the very wide range (6.2-6.8) they gave as guidance in the 2nd quarter CC. Headlines rejoiced that "things are no worse, time to mark 'em up and burn the shorts! Die, Shorty, Die!" (in the great tradition of rabid yahoo message board posters). cbs.marketwatch.com Nothing left to do but sit and press the "B" button (like the rats in those experiments where they press the bar down to get a dose of cocaine, to the exclusion of all else, to the point of death by starvation). This will end very badly...but not before a short covering flurry tomorrow that'll allow me to reestablish poot positions for October and the main event.
