Emory,
>>What you seem to be missing is my customers are coming to me asking about thisLS-120 drive. <<

In this case I see your point if you are playing "catch up" with your customers needs and if this is what they really want. However, it might also pay to point the alternatives to them.

A small business may never find it desirable to share their data with another user so the LS-120 might fit their needs. However, if they do need to share, or nip down to Kinko's for some fancy color prints or acetates then the Zip looks a better bet at the moment. If they ever need to go "on the road" for presentations, you might point out that InFocus has a projector that runs directly off a Zip disk and it all runs on a simple Infrared pointer/selector to run some snazzy slide shows.

>>They may have been doing things the 'old' way but to them, 'comfort level' is very important. Also, they are in business to make money, not change to the latest technology when it comes out. They stick with what they are using as long as it works. Now they are hitting the upper bounds of what the 1.44 technology provides and they need larger capacity.<<

I assume your inference here is that the techno-geeks on the web do not necessarily drive the market? If so, I could not agree more wholeheartedly.

Whatever the final outcome between Zip and LS-120 the bottom line is that the floppy is near the end of its useful life for many PC users.

Good investing to you.

Paul.
