Hi Sharckie,

I remembered that you're a golf fanatic and thought you'd be the perfect person to appreciate this true story about the tournement at the Royal Montreal.

My husband, the golf nut, was exercising at the local Y last night when he noticed someone awfully familiar-looking spend half an hour working on his abs and then doing some cardio. Ahem, it was only Tiger Woods.

Then, this morning he got out of the house by 5:30 a.m. in order to meet a buddy at 6:00 a.m. in the lobby of the nearby Holiday Inn because he had tickets to see the practise rounds at the Royal Montreal. Well, since he was out of the house so early, he stopped by the local McDonald's for a coffee and found the place completely abuzz because Tiger had just passed through for breakfast.

When he finally got to the Holiday Inn and was sipping his coffee, who did he see coming out of the elevator? Mr. Woods again! At this point, they either exchanged pleasantries or hubby choked on his coffee and fainted <ggg>.

Then, as the players entered the vans parked out front for their ride to the course, someone in charge mistakenly thought hubby was a player and told him to hurry into the van. They even offered him a ride when they found out he was only a civilian. Alas, he had to decline since he was waiting for his buddy.

Anyway, Tiger played like a dream and at the clubhouse, hubby and his buddy saw John Daley, VJ Singh and some other names that escape me at the moment.

So, are YOU coming to Montreal this weekend for the tournement?

Cheers,

Sue:)
