Emory,

Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on your viewpoint, the LS-120 consortium made a few fatal errors from the start. They didn't capitalize on their backward compatibility, their deep pockets (Imation, CPQ), or the use of existing distribution channels.

Compaq conceeded the aftermarket to Zip and focused on getting the LS-120 seated with corporate users. Unfortunately for the LS-120 consortium, the emerging trends that have led to today's computing marketplace have bypassed the need for this device.

If you are adament about dissuading your customers away from Zip and, as you say, they don't want to share their information you may want to investigate the Avatar Shark product.

If your analysis is based on pure "speeds and feeds" and not compatibility with the marketplace, it's a better product than Zip, but currently its only available as an add-on for notebooks (I believe).

Disclaimer: I own shares of Iomega. As people like yourself continue to recommend removable storage, the better it is for the market share leader.

good luck
