Of course. We're only as good as our predictions match the current market. Every one has been a dunce once.

I think this event is much different, though. Except perhaps for the Third World, a lot of productivity is already built into the global economy. What is going to save it like it was saved after the 1987 crash, when multinationals went on a cost-cutting and productivity-enhancing binge?
