The arrogance, the arrogance... As I recall, there were honest-to-God rocket scientists interjecting themselves into the discussion from time to time. You really think they didn't get it? Perhaps you are being bloody-minded, which is fine. Hey, I can laugh, too, but I haven't seen much evidence of a sense of humor so I discard a subtle humorous jab at Mq as the basis for your statement that only you two know that he lost. Cult leaders and gurus also have perfect knowledge.
