Tony, following on our ATM discussion, in this morning's WSJ there's an article in the third section about that very subject. The thrust of the article is about how much old code (and presumably dated code) is floating around our financial institutions.

Apparently this week Citibank had 2,000 of their ATMs crash, as well as their on line banking capability. No work from Citibank on what operating systems or microprocessors were involved.
