Here comes more eBay dilution. Short eBay 54.00 max pain 60. EBay (EBAY: news, chart, profile) said it plans to offer, from time to time, up to $1 billion of the company's common stock, according to a registration statement filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The San Jose, Calif.-based Internet retailer said proceeds are earmarked for general corporate purposes, including capital expenditures. Also, a portion of the proceeds from the sale may be used in any potential acquisitions. Shares closed at $55.09, up 44 cents.
