CSCO : NEW YORK (Reuters) - Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq:CSCO - news) said on Friday it expects weakness in the telecommunications and Internet service provider market to continue over the next 18 months as its customers struggle to get financing, control spending, and consolidate. If read correctly between the lines, one should understand that charts are meaningless because this is a fundamental crash, not a technical one. Support levels will continue to be breached, breakouts will fail until the economic fundamentals begin to support a "growth" metric. And previous growth and earnings comparisons will make that a very high hurdle, imo.
