The rich should pay the majority of taxes. Why tax the poor? They can barely afford to live. And while the middleclass does need to pay something fair they can't afford to support our government by themselves either. I really find it hilarious the Republicans all stick up for the very rich when most the rich's ardent defenders aren't rich themselves. And yet I don't hear any of my rich Republican friends complaining about taxes. They've got all trusts and foundations and write-offs and even offshore accounts. Only the poorer Republicans and a few cold-hearted greedy misers seem to care. gg But they know they can move to the Caribbean if they really want. What's stopping them? Answer: because they have a great deal living here, cheapest place in the world for the rich to live and get this high quality of life. Also remember, when you forget about taking care of the poor it costs you more in the long run. Remember the LA riots under Bush-Quayle?
