The news regarding an increase of adds relative to 2nd quarter was extremely good because it defies the common perception and logic that increasing unemployment will slow a company driven by 90% business customers. In theory it should. The hundreds of thousands of laid off workers we read and hear about everyday disconnecting and turning in their "Nextels" hasn't had an alarming negative affect on subscriber additions. In my opinion, companies are churning from inferior wireless carriers to Nextel for their differentiated products including direct connect, always on internet connection, and ever growing unique business application offerings.
