Inflation exists in a balloon too. But I don't have to buy one, unless I choose to.

Inflation DID NOT EXIST for the informed value seeking consumer buying necessary staples, products, and services. Robust competition in free and open markets for the consumer's dollar defeated inflation. Inflation may have existed in frill items, but the consumer could always decide whether or not value existed in them at a given price. Instead the fricking GOVERNMENT decided it for them.

(Gas/Oil and Medical excluded as those markets are anything but free and open)
