Houston, TX -- (OTCBB NEWSWIRE) -- September 7, 2001, There is a group of investors who feel they are being slighted by Market Makers on the OTCBB. The size of the group is unknown at this point, but they are looking for coal to fuel their cause. The group is planning an unprecedented boycott of the OTCBB in its entirety.

The group plans to rally the troops behind this boycott and send the market makers (MMs) a message - we won't play, if you won't play fair! The group is disgruntled and according to them market makers are manipulating the OTCBB and robbing investors of cold hard cash.

They contend MMs are "naked shorting" stocks into oblivion and their "suspect behaviors" have gone unchecked for too long. The group cites 100 share prints, stocks moving down after assumed buys are printed, and not being able to buy and sell when you want as evidence of the manipulation.

The fuel they are looking for is YOU! They want you and every other OTCBB investor to stop trading the OTCBB for three days from September 24 - 26. The group believes this will send a paramount message to market makers, forcing them to change their ways. They hope to realize certain regulations regarding naked shorting, have an ATS (Alternative Trading System) implemented immediately, and generally let the MMs know their distaste.

Certainly, boycotts have been instrumental in a variety of causes in our history. However, whether this one will achieve the desired results remains to be seen. There are obviously many who would argue that there is no manipulation and that investors become disgruntled when their stocks are not performing the way they expect.
